Chad Huemme is a seasoned executive with a unique blend of public, private, non-profit, and entrepreneurial/startup company experience. He has led the growth of venture backed and self-funded startups and served as executive leader with P&L responsibility in divisions of global, billion dollar public companies.
Chad has also worked as an independent business consultant with clients on sales/marketing, operations, HR and IT strategy. His industry experience includes desktop, enterprise, and web software application development, business process outsourcing (BPO), supply chain management, marketing automation, eCommerce, social media, and IT strategy.
Chad earned his undergraduate degree from Westminster College and holds a graduate degree (MBA) in finance from Northeastern University. He is currently an adjunct professor at Suffolk University (Boston – MA), teaching MBA students in the International Business and Strategy department.
Senior Technical Analyst
William Spang’s past experience includes developing web applications at a very early age and progressively building upon his skills and experience, which ultimately led to him founding a number of technology-based startups. He is actively doing research on “Big Data” expert systems, machine learning and the future of artificial intelligence. His current focus is on refining a machine learning algorithm used in predicting international corporations chance of success in the US market. At the IEC he supports client technology deployment and build internal databases for the purpose of business success forecasting.
Laurie Bishop is a seasoned Customer Success/Sales Professional highly skilled at exceeding customer needs in service of company goals. She has diverse experience ranging from corporate account management of global accounts in a large telecom, to customer service/sales in starts ups such as an online buyer of precious metals to direct selling of organic non-toxic products, event planning with the wonderful non-profit Sailing Heals, and travel professional.
She has earned a Mechanical Engineering degree from Northeastern University and an MBA from Babson College.
Jesse Phillips works as a business analyst and consultant for IEC. He primarily performs market research, and develops go-to-market strategies as well as assisting with investment and capital funding opportunities. Jesse’s expertise is drawn heavily from his experience in Silicon Valley, where he was selected as one of the youngest members into the inaugural class at Draper University. There, he was immersed in startup and venture capital culture, and gained experience developing, refining and pitching companies to investors. In his subsequent work at Draper Fischer Jurvetson he managed acquisition and funding data.Jesse received his BA in Communication Studies with a minor in History from The College Of Wooster.
Nick DeSantis has been with the IEC since the summer of 2015. He has worked in a variety of functions during his tenure. He primarily focuses on developing financial models for clients to express the market opportunity of entering the US market. Nick provides outsourced accounting services for clients including: cost management, bookkeeping, software implementation, financial strategy, tax reporting and filing. He also assists in market research during the preliminary phases of a new project.
Nick received his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a Concentration in Accounting from Boston University’s Questrom School of Business.
Emily Sano: Emily has experience across all facets of the creative and design industry having provided a multitude of services, including art direction, branded environments and graphic design, to a variety of clients, ranging from tech start-ups and universities to retailers and established corporations. Every crafted design is carefully curated and borne from a full understanding of each client, their culture, mission + purpose; no two design solutions are the same. She most recently worked as lead environmental graphic designer at a Boston based architectural and interior design firm and has also worked as the creative director for the International Interior Design Association of New England (IIDANE).
Andrew Whitney has worked extensively in both the United States and Argentina, having lived and been educated in both countries. In Buenos Aires he worked for his family’s insurance business where, amongst other things, he helped implement a significant cost cutting program, new IT systems, and reintroduced the company to the global reinsurance market. Later, while working for a reinsurance broker in Buenos Aires, he participated in the privatization of the pension system in Argentina in the early 1990’s. Throughout this time he maintained contacts in the agribusiness sector of Argentina. In Boston, Andrew worked for Marsh & McLennan in handling the international needs of large local clients. Later, in Atlanta, he started a wine importing company focused on French and Italian wines while at the same time dedicated extensive time to non-profit work. He has been on the boards of two schools and numerous community organizations and the largest park in the city of Atlanta. Andrew has a BA in History from Trinity College (CT) and an MS Management from the Hult International Business School
Glenn Parsons is an executive with a unique blend of emerging technology and public company experience. A leader at venture backed technology firms, his contributions across multiple functional areas resulted in company growth from pure start-up to market leadership and pre-IPO position. Glenn has proven executive leadership expertise in sales, business development, distribution, and operations. With a strong sales leadership legacy, diverse cross-functional leadership skills and entrepreneurial experience, his executive leadership continues in general management for growth oriented organizations. His specialties include enterprise and network software, wireless and broadband access and security, data management and security, remote access, professional services and consumer packaged goods.
Glenn has a AB in Economics from Harvard University and a MBA in Technology from NortheasternUniversity.
